In Kyrgyzstan, investors are planned to be issued visas for up to 30 years

This initiative is seen as a way to attract foreign investments

In Kyrgyzstan, authorities are exploring the possibility of introducing long-term visas for foreign investors, which could be valid for up to 30 years. This information was presented by Zhalyn Zheenaliev, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the country.

According to him, to obtain such visas, investors will need to invest between 300,000 to 400,000 US dollars into the Kyrgyz economy. This initiative aims to enhance the country's attractiveness for investments and strengthen its position in the international competitive environment.

Zheenaliev added that in a context where global foreign direct investments amount to about 1.2 trillion dollars, Kyrgyzstan is striving to establish more attractive and stable conditions for foreign investors.

In addition to visa benefits, the government is ready to offer investors a wide range of incentives. In particular, it is planned to allocate land plots, exempt from customs duties on the import of raw materials and equipment, as well as provide tax holidays for three types of taxes for up to five years. For large, national, and strategic projects, there is also the possibility of extending tax benefits for an additional five years.

Currently, the measures under consideration are still in the development stage and require appropriate regulatory formalization.
