The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the relevant agencies, is developing proposals for the textile industry for their subsequent implementation. This was reported by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

Initiatives were undertaken at the request of President Sadyr Japarov, who held an extended meeting with participants in the textile sector at "Yntymak Ordo".

At the meeting, which was chaired by the president himself, entrepreneurs, wool processors, representatives of the Wildberries marketplace, as well as logistics companies and heads of relevant government structures were present.

Opening the meeting, Japarov emphasized the importance of the textile industry for social security, its role in job creation, and its impact on economic growth, exports, and entrepreneurship development.

During the discussion, current issues in the industry were thoroughly examined, and solutions were proposed. The president gave specific instructions to ministries, government agencies, and financial organizations for prompt responses to identified difficulties. He will monitor the implementation of these instructions.

On the same day, a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce with representatives of the light industry, led by Deputy Minister Benazir Nurlanova.

At the meeting, all raised issues and problematic aspects of the textile industry were discussed in detail, which the ministry took on for further joint implementation with sector representatives.
