He emphasized that for products requiring temperature control, appropriate storage conditions are necessary both for the producer and the buyer.
“For example, sausage and dairy products fall into the category of perishable goods and have a limited shelf life. Therefore, they need to be delivered to the buyer quickly, as prolonged storage in a warehouse is unacceptable,” he explained.
In contrast, some types of cheese can be stored longer, depending on the technologies used in their production.
Takirov pointed out that the need for storage facilities varies depending on the type of product. For vegetables and fruits, such as apples, potatoes, and onions, storage facilities are necessary, while for processed products with a short shelf life, quick delivery is a priority.
He also noted that the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan—Osh, Batken, and Jalal-Abad—are located close to Tajikistan. Delivery to Khujand takes about 4–5 hours, making it more accessible than Bishkek for these regions.
Khujand, being an important industrial center of the Sughd region, produces a significant share of Tajikistan's industrial output, creating demand for Kyrgyz goods, especially those not produced in this region.
According to Takirov, entrepreneurs form logistics considering these factors: after production, the goods are loaded and sent to the buyer, while storage and sales issues are resolved by the receiving party.
He also emphasized the importance of creating logistics centers, especially for goods requiring storage. The climatic conditions of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are similar, which facilitates mutual supplies and expands the range of goods.
