- Innovative developments and new standards have been launched in the energy sector. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

The process of using drones allows for high-precision photography and videography of the routes for electrical lines. The agency explained that the collected data is processed in 3D format, which helps to accurately determine the terrain, as well as identify technical features and potential challenges during the construction phase.

The Ministry also announced the signing of a contract with the Iranian firm Monenco Iran to provide consulting services. Research and design in the field of environmental and social issues will be carried out in collaboration with the company MERCADOS ARIES INTERNATIONAL, S.A. from February 27 to March 31, 2026.

“The use of drones not only allows for precise route planning but also enables preliminary assessments of the impact on the ecosystem and monitors compliance with safety standards. This is the first experience in Kyrgyzstan of using modern technologies, which sets new standards for energy projects in the country. This approach contributes to enhancing the resilience of the region's power supply and the effective integration of renewable energy sources,” the agency emphasized in its statement.
