Recently, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan held a meeting with participants in the oil industry. Representatives from organizations such as the NGO "Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan," the NGO "Alliance of Entrepreneurs," as well as companies LLC "SHNOS," LLC "Alpha Oil," LLC "Munai Prom," LLC "Partner Neft," and JSC "RN-Kyrgyznefteproduct" participated in the meeting.

The agenda included issues related to fuel reserves, pricing situation, and ensuring the stability of supplies to the domestic market.

As emphasized by the Antimonopoly Service, despite the ongoing geopolitical tensions, the market for fuel and lubricants remains under control, which does not negatively affect domestic prices in the short term.

The supply of petroleum products to the country is carried out without customs duties based on an intergovernmental agreement between the energy ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, ensuring stability in supply volumes and protecting the domestic market from external risks.

The Service actively monitors the pricing situation in the fuel sector. Oil traders report stability in the market — supplies are occurring according to the established schedule, and fuel reserves are calculated for two months ahead.

In January of this year, a decrease in prices for gasoline and diesel fuel was observed in Kyrgyzstan, reaching 3 soms per liter. The current price adjustment for petroleum products is limited, and with the arrival of new batches of fuel, retail prices may change. Further price fluctuations will depend on the wholesale prices set by Russian oil refineries.

As a result of the meeting, decisions were made regarding:

— maintaining current prices and preventing sharp increases in fuel prices;

— forming necessary reserves to fully saturate the domestic market and avoid shortages.

Oil traders, for their part, confirmed their readiness to ensure uninterrupted supplies of petroleum products until the end of the year and fulfill the conditions of the existing Agreement.

The record "Situation in the Fuel Market of Kyrgyzstan: Oil Traders Confirm Availability of Reserves for Two Months" was first published on K-News.
