Fuel reserves in Kyrgyzstan will last for two months - oil traders

Recently, representatives of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service held a meeting with leading oil traders in the country.

On the agenda were issues related to stock volumes, prices for fuel and lubricants, and ensuring uninterrupted supplies for the domestic market.

In the context of ongoing geopolitical instability, according to the agency, the fuel market is under control, which allows for avoiding negative impacts on domestic prices in the near future. Duty-free supplies of petroleum products are carried out according to an intergovernmental agreement between the ministries of energy of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, which helps maintain stable supply volumes and protect the domestic market from external risks,” the press service reports.

According to oil traders, the situation in the fuel market remains stable, and supplies are being made according to the established schedule. There are enough petroleum product stocks for two months.

In January of this year, a decrease in prices for gasoline and diesel fuel was recorded in the republic, down to 3 soms per liter.

Oil traders note that price changes for fuel are limited. With the arrival of new batches of fuel to the market, a correction of retail prices is possible. However, the further dynamics of fuel prices will depend on the wholesale prices set by the oil refineries in Russia.
