According to information that became available last week, an audio recording was circulated on social media in which a man reports his call to 102. He claimed that Donald Trump "stole" Nicolás Maduro and demanded that an investigation be conducted into his case.
At a court hearing held on January 7, the man was found guilty of violating the law. He not only called emergency services without necessity but also ignored the lawful requests of law enforcement officers to appear at the department for clarification.
In court, the man admitted his guilt and noted that at the time of the call, he was in a state of alcohol intoxication, which prevented him from recalling the details of his appeal to the police.
The court classified his actions under Article 199 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (knowingly false call to specialized services) and imposed a fine of 3 BRV (1.2 million soms).
