- An off-site meeting of experts took place in Naryn, where the project of the Program for Support and Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 (SME-2030) was discussed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

Participants in the dialogue included representatives of the business community of the region, local authorities, and industry associations.

During the discussion, entrepreneurs from the Naryn region highlighted the main barriers and priority areas for business development. The focus was on issues related to access to financing, the need to expand preferential lending programs, and the development of digital infrastructure to support entrepreneurs.

Additionally, proposals were discussed for the creation of a regional digital hub that would facilitate the simplification of business processes and provide consultations in a "one-stop shop" format.

Meeting participants also noted the importance of forming production and export clusters, especially in the areas of agricultural product processing and the textile industry, which could enhance the competitiveness of local enterprises and improve their opportunities in foreign markets.

“As a result of the discussion, the proposals from representatives of the Naryn region will be summarized and taken into account when refining the SME-2030 Program project. The recommendations obtained at the meeting are aimed at developing practical and targeted support measures that consider the region's specifics and the needs of businesses,” the message states.
