On January 28, a round table was held at the Ministry of Education dedicated to issues of preschool education.

According to the press service of the ministry, representatives from various organizations participated in the event, including the Ministry of Education, the Department of Education of Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Academy of Education, and the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Educational Workers. Also present were educators from short-term kindergartens and methodologists from district education departments.

During the discussion, a project for a distance learning course was presented, which takes into account the latest changes in legislation and regulatory acts related to preschool education. In addition, a draft version of the online module "Balalyk," designed for 10 days of training on the RIPPPR platform, was introduced.

The purpose of the meeting was to gather feedback from key stakeholders. Participants noted the need for training not only for educators of short-term kindergartens but also for teachers working in other forms of preschool education.

The course program will include methodological recommendations aimed at developing key competencies for educators of short-term community kindergartens. The basis for these recommendations will be materials from the "Strengthening the Foundations of Learning" project, covering topics such as differentiated instruction, the basics of STEM education, and the "Balalyk" program.

Representatives of the educational community, methodologists, and researchers from the KAO provided specific proposals and recommendations for the course.

The developed course will be further discussed with experts and submitted to the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Educational Workers for the implementation of distance learning on the institute's platform.
