The visit of Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, to the M. Adyshev Institute of Geology took place as part of familiarization with its activities, reports the press service of the Cabinet.

During the visit, the main areas of scientific research of the institute were presented, as well as the projects currently being implemented. The institute's scientists are actively engaged in studying the mineral resource potential of the country and developing geological science.

Kasymaliev toured the library and museum, where unique exhibits were displayed, including dinosaur remains found on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. He also familiarized himself with the working spaces and laboratories of the institute.

The main focus of the institute's scientific activities is on fundamental and applied research in areas such as regional geology, mineral resources, physical geography, geoecology, and engineering geology.

The head of the Cabinet emphasized the importance of scientific research in geology for the sustainable socio-economic growth of the country and noted the need to support both fundamental and applied science.

In addition, he urged ministries to enhance cooperation with scientific institutions to implement modern developments and improve the effectiveness of solutions to pressing issues in relevant fields.

Important aspects concerning research, training of scientific personnel, material and technical support, and prospects for the further development of the institute were also discussed.

As a result of the visit, instructions were given to the relevant state authorities.
