Sergio Gore noted that his visit to the capital of Kyrgyzstan was driven by "a simple and clear message from President Donald Trump."
He emphasized that the United States is eager to cooperate with Central Asia and considers this region a priority. "This is a commitment that we intend to develop over the next three years of the administration," he added.
The special envoy also pointed out that for a long time, the U.S. did not pay enough attention to this region, but with the arrival of Donald Trump, the situation is beginning to change.
"As many of you may have noticed during the 'C5+1' meeting at the White House last year, interest in this region comes directly from the Oval Office. This underscores the strategic importance we attach to Central Asia, and we will build on this for future cooperation," he noted.
Sergio Gore also added that the U.S. possesses advanced technologies and innovations that can be beneficial for the countries of Central Asia. "We are ready to collaborate with partners from this region to unlock our joint potential," he emphasized.
"This is not just a one-time event, but the beginning of a long-term and sustainable partnership in the coming months and years. The presence of American companies here creates new opportunities for strengthening commercial ties between the U.S. and the five Central Asian states. We support our companies and are ready to assist them in their successful operations in this region," he added.
Gore noted that forum participants will work on developing new ideas to expand commercial opportunities in key sectors such as e-commerce, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, agriculture, and transportation.
