On March 10, in Bishkek, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, Nurdin Oruntaev, held a ceremony for the laying of a time capsule for a new school with 650 places in the "Ak-Bata" area of the Sverdlovsk district.

Attending the event were the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, local authorities, and residents of the area.

In his address to those gathered, the minister emphasized the importance of developing educational infrastructure as one of the key directions of state policy. He noted that the new school will create comfortable conditions for children's education in "Ak-Bata" and added that efforts to reduce the shortage of educational institutions and to provide them with modern facilities will continue.

According to the project, the total area of the new school will be 5,300 square meters, and the land plot occupies 1.08 hectares. The educational institution will accommodate 650 students, with the possibility of expansion to 1,300 places, and will consist of three blocks. The building is planned to be two stories high, with modern conditions for the educational process.

Special attention has been paid to the seismic conditions of the region: the school's structure will be reinforced for resistance to earthquakes of more than 9 points. Additionally, considering the challenging soil characteristics, the pit will be excavated to a depth of up to 8.8 meters, and the foundation will be strengthened using special technology.

The construction work is being carried out under the supervision of the Ministry of Construction, with the contractor being the company OsOO "GradStroyResurs."
