During his working trip, the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Damir Osmonov, visited the Center for General Medical Practice in the Issyk-Kul region. His visit aimed to familiarize himself with the work of the medical institution and the process of constructing a new building.

According to the ministry's press service, Osmonov inspected the updated intensive care unit, which has recently been renovated and equipped with modern equipment. He also learned about the work of the ambulance service, noting that the center is provided with the necessary vehicles to serve the local population.

During the meeting with the center's management, the issue of the shortage of medical personnel was raised. The minister emphasized the importance of a systematic approach to strengthening the staffing potential and instructed the relevant departments of the ministry, together with local authorities, to develop measures aimed at attracting and retaining medical specialists in the region, including improving working and living conditions for doctors.

Previously, the minister had already received complaints about the lack of personnel in healthcare from employees of the Kemin Central Outpatient Clinic. This issue was also discussed in the context of the state of the intensive care service.
