
The negotiations with the Ghanaian side were led by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, while the Kyrgyz delegation was represented by the first vice-president of the KFU, Nurdin Bukuev. The event was also attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ethiopia, Adylbek Tillebaev, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, and members of the Ghanaian delegation.
Nurdin Bukuev, speaking at the meeting, noted the positive dynamics of football development in Kyrgyzstan. He mentioned the growth of infrastructure, improvement in the quality of the national championship, and an increase in the number of legionnaires, including players from Ghana. Bukuev emphasized that Ghana's experience, as one of the leading football countries in Africa, is valuable for Kyrgyzstan.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, in turn, elaborated on the football sector development system in Ghana, focusing on the work of academies. He noted that well-organized training for young players allows the country to regularly produce top footballers at the international level.
During the meeting, the main areas for cooperation were outlined, including:
Creation of exchange programs for coaches and managers;
Joint training camps in Ghanaian academies;
Preparation of an official memorandum of cooperation;
Organization of friendly matches between national and club teams.
Additionally, significant attention was paid to strengthening personal connections between football players. As part of the visit, the Ghanaian delegation met with the forward of the Kyrgyz national team, Joel Kojo, and the player of the "Bars" club, Emmanuel Yagro, which became an important element of cultural and sports exchange.
Following the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to develop a long-term partnership that should contribute to the enhancement of football skills in both Kyrgyzstan and Ghana.
