Special commissions will deal with dachas in Kyrgyzstan

The Cabinet has developed new rules regarding owners, boundaries, and control over lands

Special commissions will be established in Kyrgyzstan to assess the condition of garden associations. This step has become possible due to the new land use regulations developed by the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography.

Recall that last year an updated Land Code was adopted, according to which garden and dacha plots are now considered part of populated areas. However, there are still unresolved issues, including the lack of unified norms for landowners. The new regulations are also aimed at addressing problems related to abandoned lands, their boundaries, and control. For example, if a plot does not have a registered owner and is not encumbered by the rights of third parties, it will be considered abandoned.

As part of the new regulations, the Cabinet hopes to streamline urban planning documentation, increase the efficiency of land resource use, and create conditions for improving infrastructure and landscaping.
