The press service of the regional police reports that this event took place as part of the implementation of President Sadyr Japarov's directives regarding the thorough and timely consideration of citizens' appeals, and at the request of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Ulan Niyazbekov. The meeting was attended by the head of the Internal Affairs Department, Zholboldu Kochkonov, the akim of the At-Bashinsky district, Mukhtar Sherbaev, and prosecutor Kubanychbek Nurullaev.
During the meeting, Zholboldu Kochkonov reported on the ongoing major repairs of the At-Bashinsky ROVD building and the construction of a modern sports hall for employees. He also noted that all territorial police units in the rural areas are equipped with new vehicles and necessary working conditions, which should improve the level of service for the population.
At the meeting, residents raised several important issues:
- road safety — the increasing number of traffic accidents involving animals on the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart highway;
- technical inspection — the need for technical inspections for right-hand drive vehicles;
- transport infrastructure — problems with traffic jams at the central market and the lack of parking spaces for cars coming from villages;
- compliance with traffic rules — the need to enhance explanatory work on adhering to traffic rules, maintaining distance, and parking regulations;
- student safety — issues regarding the safety of students, the creation of a special school for discipline violators, and the opening of sports halls for children;
- domestic violence — the need to tighten measures against manifestations of domestic violence.
