Bayaman Erkinbaev was a member of parliament three times: in 1995, 2000, and 2005. He also actively participated in the life of the country and became the founder of the international wrestling federation "Alysh," as well as the president of the charitable foundation "Palvan."

In addition, Erkinbaev played an important role in the events of March 2005, which led to a change of power and the resignation of President Askar Akayev. According to open data, his supporters, including graduates of sports schools, actively participated in the protests in the south of the country and in Bishkek.

Unfortunately, in 2005, Bayaman Erkinbaev was killed in the capital, which caused a significant public outcry. Various theories regarding the reasons for his death were considered, including criminal conflicts and attempts to influence business and political processes.
