According to information published by The New York Post, American military forces may have deployed an unknown powerful weapon during the operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. The data was obtained from a security service employee of the Venezuelan leader.

According to the guard's account, Venezuelan forces were on high alert, but suddenly all radar systems malfunctioned for no apparent reason. At that moment, drones began to appear over their positions.

Minutes later, the source claims, helicopters appeared in the operation zone — there were about eight of them, and they reportedly delivered around 20 American soldiers. The guard noted that their weaponry significantly exceeded the power of conventional firearms.

“There were many of us, but we had no chance. They were shooting with such speed and accuracy that it seemed each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute,” the publication quotes the guard's words.

He also spoke about the use of a mysterious weapon, which he described as “a very powerful sound wave.” According to him, this led to bleeding, a sharp deterioration in health, and loss of mobility among the soldiers.

“Everyone had blood coming from their noses, some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground and couldn’t move. After the use of this sound weapon, we couldn’t get up,” added the security service employee.

The publication reminds that, according to estimates from the Venezuelan Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 100 security personnel were killed as a result of the attack on January 3. So far, there has been no official confirmation of this information from U.S. authorities or independent sources.
