She is in the 11th grade at school No. 11 and enjoys crafting, especially creating dolls and soft toys.
Mayram's interest in handicrafts began in childhood. Over time, she has tried her hand at various directions: bead weaving, origami, and sewing. Gradually, she found what truly resonates with her soul — the creation of soft toys and dolls.
“It is important for me to see something alive and warm coming from simple materials,” Shamilieva noted.
A significant role in her creative journey has been played by her family, who have always supported her endeavors. The schoolgirl expresses special gratitude to her English teacher — she has been a source of inspiration, self-belief, and a desire to continue developing.
“My most successful and favorite works are the dolls and soft toys because I put the most effort and emotions into them. Creating one piece takes from several days to several weeks — it all depends on the complexity, the number of details, and the concept. I get ideas from the internet and also listen to the advice and recommendations of my teacher. In my works, I try to convey warmth, kindness, and a good mood so that they bring a smile to people's faces. I strive to pass on warmth, kindness, and a good mood through my creations, so that each piece brings a smile to people. It makes me very happy when those around me praise my work and speak warmly of it,” Mayram shared.
Additionally, she actively participates in various events and volunteer projects where she can share her creativity and contribute positively.
For the most part, Shamilieva has learned handicrafts on her own — with the help of video tutorials and patterns.
In the future, she plans to continue her creative pursuits: creating new characters, improving the quality of her work, and mastering more complex techniques.
Mayram advises her peers not to compare themselves to others and not to be afraid of doing something imperfectly, as experience comes with time.
