35-year-old Aizat Jamgyrchieva from the Bakai-Ata district of the Talas region is actively engaged in making sweets and earns an average of 30,000 soms per month.

In a conversation with a Turmush correspondent, she shared that her family lives in the village of Bakai-Ata. “We have four children – three daughters and a son. We got married in 2011, and since then we have always supported each other. Our friends introduced us, and then we started communicating and decided to start a family. Everything remains the same — my husband takes care of us and is a great father. Previously, I spent time at home with the children, but last year my husband suggested opening a small workshop for making sweets and bread. We work together. We invested 250,000 soms into our business, and we prepare bread, gingerbread, dough for lagman, buns, oromo, ashlyan fu, pies, and kattama in our workshop,” she shared.

The products are supplied to stores in five different localities. “We update and deliver goods daily. At first, I was a bit worried staying home with the children, but over time, everything fell into place. People started getting used to our products, and business began to improve. Now we earn about 30,000 soms a month, which I consider a good income, much better than just sitting at home,” Aizat noted.
