A solar photovoltaic installation project was presented in Bishkek

The system has an energy capacity of about 200 kWh

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a presentation of a pilot project related to the installation of a solar photovoltaic system on the roof of one of the buildings took place, which includes an energy storage system (BESS). This project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and has become one of the first examples of integrating solar energy with battery storage in the commercial sector.

The presentation was held at the site where the solar system was installed, gathering representatives from government agencies, the private sector, higher educational institutions, and international organizations.

This project features an energy storage system with a total capacity of about 200 kWh and a solar installation with a power of approximately 50 kW. Additionally, a digital energy consumption management system (PMS/EMS) has been developed, based on Korean technologies and equipment.

This system can operate in grid mode (on-grid), which allows for smoothing peak loads and optimizing energy consumption, as well as in off-grid mode, providing power supply to the facility and the functionality of a microgrid in case of emergency outages.

As noted by the ministry, "the implementation of such pilot projects contributes to creating a practical basis for the development of a green economy, the introduction of modern energy solutions, and enhancing the resilience of the country's energy infrastructure."
