
During the meeting, issues related to strengthening cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, and agriculture were discussed. Vyacheslav Volodin noted that by the end of 2025, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia increased by more than 25%, confirming Russia's status as Kyrgyzstan's main economic partner.


Mamataliyev also emphasized the protection of the rights of Kyrgyz citizens abroad. In particular, he proposed to expand the digital accounting project "Amina" beyond the Moscow region and include information about migrant children in the system. The Speaker highlighted the importance of ensuring safe and legal migration in the context of Eurasian integration.
Proposals to improve conditions for Kyrgyz citizens in Russia
During the meeting, the Kyrgyz side raised a number of critical issues regarding the stay of workers in Russia:
Vyacheslav Volodin emphasized that the trusting relationship between the presidents creates a foundation for active cooperation. After the negotiations, the Speaker of the State Duma instructed responsible officials in the relevant Russian agencies to promptly address the raised issues to develop final solutions.
Issues of migration preferences remain a focus of the Eurasian Economic Union. According to the EDB, remittances from migrants have a significant impact on domestic demand in Kyrgyzstan. Earlier, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reported fluctuations in receipts, highlighting the importance of creating stable conditions for labor migrants in Russia.
