"Rumors like these always generate interest in the information space. I do not understand who spreads them and for what purpose. For me personally, it does not matter; I can confidently say that at the moment I have no such information. If any changes were being prepared, I would be the first to hear about it from the country's leadership," Shykmamatov stated.
Earlier, there were reports that Kydykbek Kydyrov might be appointed as the new head of the GNS, who temporarily performed duties after the dismissal of Altynbek Abduvapov. There were also rumors that Almambet Shykmamatov could take the position of Attorney General or become the head of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums.
Shykmamatov emphasized that he has no plans to move to either the Prosecutor General's Office or the CEC, and he intends to remain in the Tax Service for a long time.
He added: "I perceive rumors with irony and try not to pay attention to them. However, this time I decided to comment on the situation, as serious resources have started writing about my dismissal," concluded Almambet Shykmamatov.
