Foreign Policy 2025. The Foreign Minister Discussed Key Achievements

In Bishkek, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a press conference where he discussed the results of the country's foreign policy activities for the year 2025. The press service of the ministry provided information about the event.

The minister emphasized that the past year was an important stage in implementing a multi-vector and pragmatic approach to foreign policy. Kyrgyzstan actively developed political dialogue with international partners, expanded cooperation, promoted economic interests, and focused on protecting the rights of its citizens abroad.

Among the main achievements of 2025, the minister highlighted the successful resolution of the border issue with Tajikistan, effective chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Organization of Turkic States and the Collective Security Treaty Organization, as well as the commencement of chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Regarding plans for 2026, the minister outlined priority areas such as the successful implementation of the chairmanship in the SCO, development of economic and transport-logistics projects, increasing export opportunities, and further protection of the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad.

At the end of the press conference, Kulubaev answered questions from both local and foreign journalists.
