At a press conference in Bishkek on January 15, Kulubaev noted that last year more than 128,000 Kyrgyz citizens were removed from this list. Responsible citizens were able to check their data in the registry and prepare the necessary documents if they found themselves on the list.

The minister added that Kyrgyz citizens were given additional time to complete their registration and other documents. "Although the state and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did everything possible, some citizens are still in the registry and may be deported. We cannot physically accompany all migrants to government agencies. Nevertheless, the Russian side may reconsider its policy, considering the large number of vacant jobs," he noted.

Furthermore, according to Kulubaev, the return of citizens to Kyrgyzstan will be beneficial, as large projects requiring labor are being implemented in the country. "There are many vacancies here, and our citizens will be able to work just as effectively as they do in Russia," the minister added.
