“During operational-search activities conducted by the GKNB, it was established that in 2003, the head of the public association 'Toboy' 'S.T.D.' conspired with responsible officials of the Talas branch of the State Enterprise 'Cadastre' and the State Enterprise 'Talas Main Water Management' to illegally privatize facilities that ensure the livelihood of the population,” the agency noted.
“In 2003, using the official position of his subordinates, the head of the public association 'Toboy' 'S.T.D.', through forgery, transferred strategic water intakes to the balance of his association, which were then transferred to private ownership. As a result, land plots of 1.7 ha, 0.68 ha, and 1 ha, including infrastructure, valued at 36,415,400 soms, ended up in the hands of private individuals,” they added.
After conducting investigative actions, the mentioned vital infrastructure facilities were returned to state ownership.
