In the Black Sea, in the area of the KTK marine terminal, an attack occurred on two oil tankers that are involved in the transportation of Kazakh oil. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.

The first tanker hit by the drone was the Matilda, which is registered under the flag of Malta. An explosion occurred on board, but there was no fire. The crew was unharmed, and preliminary checks did not reveal any serious damage to the hull of the vessel.

The second attacked tanker is the Delta Harmony, registered under the flag of Liberia. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on board, but it was quickly extinguished. No injuries among the crew were reported. According to the operational headquarters, at the time of the attack, the loading of oil onto the tanker had not yet begun, which helped avoid damage to Kazakh export resources.

The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is actively working in cooperation with the national operator "KazMunayGas," as well as with the consortium administration and ship owners, to ensure the safety of logistics chains and the stability of export supplies, as stated in the official message.
