Despite his physical limitations, Bektur has successfully mastered the professions of programmer, manager, and economist. Currently, he combines teaching at a college, running a small business, and studying in graduate school. His motto, "step over those who can walk," inspires him to achieve new heights.
At the moment, Bektur is studying in the graduate program at the International University named after K.Sh. Toktomamatov. He also teaches programming lectures for college students at the same institution. Moreover, he has launched an online course on computer literacy. Bektur recalls how he began having walking problems in the first grade, which led to the need for a wheelchair. After his diagnosis, he did not attend school until the 8th grade and was educated at home. In the 9th grade, he started listening to psychological lectures online, which motivated him to return to school. He studied actively and by the 11th grade began reading extensively, which helped him prepare for the National Testing, where he scored 133 points. "Reading books strengthened my confidence and broadened my horizons. I didn't think about how others perceived me; I just followed my own path," Bektur shares his story.
He also noted that many people with disabilities experience psychological difficulties and need moral support. "Every person should feel safe. The conditions in which people with disabilities live often do not take their needs into account, and this is oppressive," says Bektur. He emphasizes the importance of education: "I cannot do heavy physical work, but I earn through knowledge. The main thing is to set goals and develop. In this regard, there are no limitations for us," he concludes.
