On February 13, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, signed more than 50 decrees and resolutions regarding resignations and appointments to key state positions, reports "Fergana".
Among those who left their posts were Deputy Prime Ministers Mammetkhan Chakiyev, Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva, and Batyr Amanov. The reasons for their resignations were not disclosed. The new Deputy Prime Ministers are Batyr Annaev, who previously headed the "Turkmen Maritime and River Transport" agency, Batyr Mammedov, the former rector of the Turkmen State Architectural and Construction Institute, and Guvanch Agajanov, who previously held the position of chairman of the State Concern "Turkmenneft".
In addition, several ministers and heads of departments also lost their positions.
Myrat Mammedov was relieved of his duties as Minister of Health and Medical Industry due to retirement, with Myratberdi Gaiypov becoming the new minister.
Charygeldi Babanyazov was dismissed from the post of Minister of Environmental Protection, replaced by Ovezgeldi Goshjanov.
Begmyrat Ataev no longer heads the State Association of Food Industry, with Bayramdurdy Tejenov taking his place.
On February 14, by presidential decree, Nazar Atagarayev was removed from the position of Minister of National Security due to transitioning to another job, with Dovletgeldi Meredov becoming the new head of the MNB.
Additionally, the Ministry of Highways was established based on the State Agency for the Management of Road Construction, headed by Hangeldi Kerimov.
Ashyrguly Begliyev left the post of presidential advisor on oil and gas issues due to retirement.
Serdar Berdymukhamedov also conducted a rotation of khyakims (heads of administrations) in several cities, including Turkmenbashi, Turkmenabat, and Mary, as well as in a number of districts.
