On February 9, Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov visited Moscow, where he familiarized himself with advanced medical and educational institutions in Russia.

During the trip, the minister explored approaches to training medical personnel, the organization of highly specialized care, and the implementation of modern diagnostic and treatment methods in the Russian healthcare system.

According to the Ministry of Health, the delegation from Kyrgyzstan visited five different medical institutions covering areas such as medical education, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as digital and robotic technologies.

The first stop of the visit was the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov, where the delegation studied educational programs and infrastructure, as well as practice-oriented training and the integration of the educational process with clinical and scientific activities.

As part of their visit to clinical departments, the delegation visited a neurology center, where they were shown telemedicine and remote consultations. They were also presented with an example of robotic surgery using the Da Vinci system in real time.

Next, the delegation visited leading scientific and medical centers in Russia, including the A.N. Bakulev Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, where methods for diagnosing and treating complex heart diseases were demonstrated, as well as the V.I. Kulakov Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology, which specializes in maternal health, reproductive health, and perinatal care, and the N.N. Blokhin Cancer Research Center, known for its high technologies in diagnostics and treatment.

At the V.I. Kulakov Center, Minister Dosmambetov learned about the organization of obstetric-gynecological and perinatal care, as well as the training of medical personnel, which involves Kyrgyz specialists.

The minister noted that the experience studied has practical value for the development of the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan, including personnel training and the implementation of high-tech care.

At the end of the trip, the delegation visited a modern private multidisciplinary clinic in Moscow, where they studied the organization of medical care and management processes. Attention was given to the work of the oncology service, laboratory, pathology, and pediatric rehabilitation, as well as the implementation of digital solutions. The minister emphasized the importance of studying the experience of the private sector to enhance the efficiency and digitalization of medical services.
