According to the information from the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, the total number of people affected by food poisoning at the fast food restaurant "Daamduu" has reached 17, including 4 children. The incident was recorded on January 15.

Currently, 13 of the affected individuals are hospitalized, while 4 are receiving outpatient treatment. The Department claims that everyone has received the necessary medical assistance, and clinical samples have been collected for further laboratory research.

According to epidemiological data, all the sick individuals consumed shawarma purchased at "Daamduu" on January 15, and the first symptoms of poisoning appeared at different times throughout the day.

Specialists from Bishkek's Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance conducted an unscheduled inspection of the establishment, during which samples of ingredients, equipment swabs, and remnants of finished products were taken. The staff was also examined for intestinal infections.

As a result of the inspection, three protocols were drawn up, and decisions were made to impose fines totaling 41,000 soms. The establishment's manager was issued a sanitary order to close the fast food restaurant starting January 15, after which the premises were sealed.

The epidemiological investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided as laboratory research results come in.

The Department also reminds entrepreneurs of the importance of adhering to sanitary standards and advises citizens to purchase food only from verified places and to seek medical assistance immediately if symptoms of poisoning appear.
