Students and farmers presented a joint strategy at the 'Agrodialog'.
At the event organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, participants noted that this year the main theme was the presentations by students from agricultural universities. These young specialists presented their research alongside experienced professionals, which became a significant highlight of the forum.

The "Agrodialog" forum has become an important platform for honest dialogue between farmers, scientists, and government representatives over the past few years. The main idea is to listen to those who work daily in the fields, which allows colleagues to avoid mistakes and adapt more quickly to climate changes. Champion farmers confirmed that after their presentations, they receive inquiries for advice from all over the country, as their methods truly work.

For the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, this forum has become a valuable tool for obtaining feedback. It is an opportunity not only to express gratitude to agricultural workers for their efforts but also to adapt government programs to real needs. Considering the opinions of practitioners who are the first to face the consequences of drought and market fluctuations, it becomes clear that this is not just a formality but an important strategic necessity. The Minister of Agriculture personally attended the event, listening attentively to the presentations of both experienced specialists and young researchers.

The first day of the forum focused on crop production. Farmers shared successful examples of implementing irrigation systems, new varieties, and digital technologies. However, the real revelation was the interaction between generations. Students from the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University and Manas University presented their ideas alongside professionals. For instance, third-year student E.A. Turdubekov justified the advantages of growing chickpeas in conditions of climate instability, while Akbermet Ernis presented modern approaches to horticulture. Master's student Saadat Beishenbekova captured the audience's attention with her research on producing quality seed potatoes using biotechnology.

Engaging youth in such discussions represents an investment in the future. Students bring digital skills and a willingness to experiment into the agricultural sector, while interaction with practicing farmers helps adapt scientific research to real needs. This model creates a closed cycle: science takes into account the needs of the fields, and farmers gain access to innovations. Thus, the success of the agricultural sector in Kyrgyzstan depends on the harmony between experience and innovative ideas.
