During the event, three key reports were presented: on the results of work in the economic and financial sectors, the real economy, and the social sphere by 2025.
The President shared the strategic directions for the economic development of Kyrgyzstan in the coming years, highlighting three main conditions that contribute to growth:
- Effective governance and political will;
- Creation of an institutional structure;
- Prioritization of state interests over personal ones.
“Previously, we focused on recovery, and now we are moving on to discussions about the development of our country. Despite the fact that for others we remain a state with limited resources and no access to the sea, we have already proven that we can achieve high growth rates,” noted the president.
Sadyr Japarov also emphasized that the average annual GDP growth rate of the country has been 10.2% over the past four years. According to the International Monetary Fund, in 2024, Kyrgyzstan ranked among the top three countries with the highest real GDP growth in the world.
