The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlis Akunbekov. A direct connection with the districts was organized online, where reports on the progress of the preparatory activities were heard.

District representatives reported that necessary organizational work is actively being carried out to ensure the successful conduct of the census. They expressed confidence that the campaign would be completed on time and at a high level.

The Minister emphasized the importance of clarifying and systematizing data in the agricultural sector for the state. He noted that the census would help establish the real state of agriculture and the number of breeding livestock, which will serve as the basis for forming effective state policy in this area.

Attention was also drawn to the need to collect data on breeding livestock in electronic form with corresponding photographs, which will allow for the compilation of a complete list of breeding stock and clarification of existing information.

Additionally, the need to clarify information about state fund lands temporarily transferred for agricultural use, as well as to compile lists of tenants for local statistical authorities, was pointed out.

In organizing the census, it is planned to actively use digital platforms. Data will be collected through the platform of the National Statistical Committee. Training seminars are planned for local government officials and responsible persons, where the process of data entry will be explained.

The agricultural census campaign is scheduled from March 20 to April 10, lasting 20 days. Responsible employees will be appointed in each district and village to ensure the implementation of all organizational activities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Erlis Akunbekov gave specific instructions to government agencies and territorial structures, consisting of seven points aimed at the quality and timely conduct of the census work.

He also urged citizens to approach this event with understanding and emphasized that the agricultural census would not negatively impact the social rights of the population. According to him, conducting such censuses is an international practice used in many countries.
