Investments in fixed assets in Kyrgyzstan increased by 18.4% in 2025, reaching 374.6 billion soms.

- According to the Ministry of Economy, by the end of 2025, the total volume of investments in fixed capital amounted to 374.6 billion soms, which corresponds to an increase of 18.4%.

In comparison, in 2024, the growth of investments was significantly higher at 36.3%.

The growth in investment volumes in 2025 compared to 2024 was made possible by an increase in domestic sources of financing by 9.0% and external sources by 1.8 times. In particular, the volume of investments from the republican budget increased by 42.7% and amounted to 90.3 billion soms.

The majority of investments from January to December 2025, namely about 85% of the total volume, were directed towards the construction of facilities related to transportation activities and cargo storage, mining, as well as providing electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, manufacturing, education, and housing construction.

The main drivers of economic capitalization during the reporting period were several factors. In particular, there was a significant increase in housing construction under the "Menin üýüm" program, within which 4,662 apartments were completed in 2025. Additionally, capital investments in urban infrastructure development in Bishkek and Osh increased, as well as in the construction of sports facilities and the development of tourism infrastructure.

During the reporting period, several social facilities were also built and put into operation, including 53 general education schools amounting to 11,788.6 million soms, 10 hospitals amounting to 1,893.1 million soms, 32 outpatient clinics amounting to 520.8 million soms, and 43 preschool institutions amounting to 4,136.9 million soms.

Taking into account the growth of economic capitalization, the total volume of gross construction output for January-December 2025 amounted to 438.5 billion soms, which is 21.1% more compared to the previous year. For comparison, in 2024, the growth of this indicator was 28.7%.

The contribution of the construction sector to the formation of gross domestic product in 2025 is estimated at 1.62 percentage points, while the share of construction in the GDP structure amounted to 8.7%.
