During the discussion, Marlen Mamataliev emphasized the need to implement digital technologies in the activities of the Jogorku Kenesh. He noted that the successful implementation of digitalization in the presidential administration has significantly accelerated the decision-making process, which, in turn, has increased overall work efficiency. "In 2024 alone, thanks to digitalization, 1 billion 205 million soms were saved. These funds can be directed towards the construction of social facilities, increasing pensions and benefits. We must adapt these practices in parliament as well," he added.
In particular, the speaker noted the intention to reduce the use of paper in document circulation and legislative activities. In the near future, deputies will be provided with tablets to receive information in electronic format. Each tablet will have four sections: materials from the sessions of the Jogorku Kenesh, sessions of specialized committees, groups of deputies, and information on various issues. All data will be available in advance, allowing deputies to prepare for events regardless of their location.
Additionally, Mamataliev raised the issue of involving representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers in the sessions of specialized committees. He reported plans to simplify this process so that heads of government agencies could participate in meetings online, which would facilitate the resolution of emerging issues.
He also added that conditions will be created for online meetings with voters in the regions, and for the convenience of citizens, five public reception offices for deputy groups and a room for mothers and children will be opened in the Jogorku Kenesh.
