During the ceremony, it was emphasized that the event has become part of a systematic effort to improve the material and technical base of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES). Over the past five years, the agency has received 652 units of vehicles and special equipment, which required 7 billion soms. Today, the MES received another 116 units of equipment, marking one of the largest stages of modernization in the years of the country's independence and reflecting a complete renewal of the agency's technical fleet.

Funding for the MES in recent years has been timely and sufficient, as noted during the event. The budget for 2025 will exceed 5.5 billion soms, and throughout the year, additional funds have been allocated for emergency recovery operations, infrastructure development, construction of meteorological stations, and modernization of airfields.

Issues of interaction between authorities and the population and the need to activate dialogue in the field of emergency prevention were also discussed. Participants in the event emphasized the importance of preventive work among citizens, especially in areas prone to risks of mudflows, landslides, and earthquakes.

Speaking about the work of rescuers, it was noted that they demonstrate a high level of professionalism, performing complex tasks both in the country and abroad. Examples include rescue operations at the summit of Lenin Peak and assistance to earthquake victims in Turkey.

Additionally, the important contribution of rescuers to the protection of the ecosystem of Lake Issyk-Kul was highlighted, including cleaning the water area from debris and fishing nets.

At the conclusion of the event, Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the MES staff for their selfless work in preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergencies, wishing them health, well-being, and further success in their professional activities.

The Minister of Emergency Situations, Urmatbek Shamyrkanov, received the keys to 116 units of special equipment during the ceremony.
