According to Medvedev, the capture of Greenland could solve several problems and bring benefits to all parties involved. He claims that the disappearance of the "wasp nests of the drug mafia" in Nuuk and the possibility of appointing Donald Trump as the acting president of Greenland are just some of the advantages. Additionally, he noted that many European leaders responsible for conflicts in various countries could find themselves on trial as a result of a possible military operation.
“Trump should hurry. According to unofficial information, an unexpected referendum may take place in the coming days, where all 55,000 residents of Greenland could choose to join Russia,” the Russian politician added, indicating that otherwise, the U.S. would miss the chance to add a new star to its flag.
Recently, the Trump administration has been seriously discussing plans to seize the island, which is currently part of Denmark. The U.S. president recently expressed concern that if Washington does not take control of Greenland, Russia or China will, and he will not allow such a development.
