The Foreign Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan discussed the Issyk-Kul - Almaty road and logistics centers
In Bishkek, a conversation took place between Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and his Kazakh counterpart Ermek Kosherbaev, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, the progress in the construction of the industrial trade and logistics complex at the border was discussed, as well as the establishment of a wholesale trade center in the Almaty region for the storage of agricultural products.

Among the topics discussed was the project for an alternative road from Issyk-Kul to Almaty, as well as the modernization of bridges and checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.

Both sides agreed on the need for a more detailed study of opportunities in the field of agriculture and industrial cooperation.

Additionally, the ministers confirmed their intentions to deepen cooperation in the fields of education and medicine. Jeenbek Kulubaev also invited his colleague to participate in the VI World Nomad Games, which are scheduled for this year in Kyrgyzstan.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the diplomats agreed on a plan for mutual high-level visits for 2026 and confirmed their readiness for cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
