The Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev met with the permanent representatives of nine countries

Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, held a meeting with the permanent representatives of nine countries at the United Nations in New York. These diplomats arrived in the republic as part of their official visit.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kulubaev informed the ambassadors from Andorra, Gabon, Guyana, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Namibia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Chad, and South Sudan about the current socio-economic reforms in the country, as well as significant international events that Kyrgyzstan will host in 2026, including the SCO Summit and the VI World Nomad Games.



The minister emphasized that cooperation with the United Nations is of key importance for Kyrgyzstan, noting the central role of this organization in the country's foreign policy strategy. During the conversation, international initiatives of Kyrgyzstan and its interaction with other UN member states were also discussed.

The permanent representatives, in response, highly appreciated Kyrgyzstan's efforts in promoting global initiatives, including issues related to climate change, the mountain agenda, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development, as well as ensuring peace and security. They expressed interest in further deepening cooperation both in multilateral and bilateral formats.

Additionally, the parties exchanged views on current international and geopolitical issues, cooperation in Central Asia, and other global topics.

During the visit, the foreign diplomats also familiarized themselves with winter tourism facilities, visited various state institutions to exchange experiences in advanced technologies, as well as historical and cultural landmarks of Kyrgyzstan and the UN House.
