A second resource center 'Ene Üyü' has opened in Bishkek to support mothers and children







On February 16, a second resource center named "Ene Üyü" ("Mother's House") was opened in Bishkek. This center was created to support women and children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, as well as to prevent social orphanhood.

The institution offers temporary accommodation, psychological, legal, and social support services, as well as assistance in document recovery and employment for mothers.

The opening of the center gathered representatives from the Jogorku Kenesh, the Ombudsman Institute, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, as well as international organizations and businesses.

The Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, Ainura Orozbaeva, emphasized the significance of this event, noting that it is an important milestone in the development of the support system for women and their families.

"This event represents a significant step towards creating a support system for women and families in difficult situations. The new center will be a place where every woman can find help and confidence in her abilities," she added.

As project representatives note, the center will contribute to preserving families during crisis moments and preventing abandonment of newborns.

Kuduret Kaaryev, head of the Public Fund "Nurzaman," also confirmed the intention to continue supporting this project, stating: "We are looking for effective ways to help and plan to develop this project throughout the country."

Timur Teleuzhanov, executive director of the international fund "Ene uyuu," emphasized that the new center represents long-term investments in the future of families and children.

The Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhyldyz Taalaibek kyzy, noted that the opening of the center is a systematic step towards preventing social orphanhood. "Preserving hope for every mother means preserving the future for her child," she said.

Zhyldyz Taalaibek kyzy added that the Jogorku Kenesh is ready to provide comprehensive support for such initiatives, including monitoring the issues faced by women in the center and protecting their rights.

The opening ceremony concluded with the cutting of the red ribbon, after which guests were able to familiarize themselves with the work of the center and participate in various activities.
