The State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports provided comments regarding the dissatisfaction of citizens caused by the access restrictions to the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium.
The agency clarified that these restrictions are temporary and necessary to comply with technological requirements during the installation of the running tracks.
The first stage of laying the specialized surface has been completed on nine tracks, which requires a mandatory technological period of at least one year.
This condition is necessary to ensure the strength of the base and the durability of the surface.
The finishing layer of the surface can only be laid under stable warm weather conditions.
Moreover, premature use of the surface or non-compliance with technology may lead to deformation and ineffective expenditure of budget funds.
The main works on the repair and reconstruction of the stadium were completed in 2024, and the facility was officially put into operation. Currently, it is necessary to finish laying the running tracks in strict accordance with the established standards.
