Aydai Donbaeva, a native of Kyrgyzstan, joined the international organization Mensa at the age of 20, which is the largest and oldest association of people with high intelligence quotients. She shared this with a journalist from 24.kg.

In early June 2024, Aydai successfully passed the international Mensa IQ test held in the Czech Republic. The testing took place in one of the classrooms of the Czech Technical University (ČVUT) under the supervision of an examiner within a limited time frame and included 30-40 logical tasks aimed at identifying pattern recognition abilities and quick analysis.

The test results showed that her IQ is 140 points on the Stanford-Binet scale, which corresponds to the 99.6 percentile. This allowed her to enter the 0.4% of people with the highest intelligence scores. After receiving the results, she received an official invitation to become a member of Mensa, membership in which is possible with a score of 130 points (98th percentile). By the end of summer 2024, she became a full member of this organization.

According to Aydai, she initially did not plan to join Mensa.

“I decided to take the test more out of curiosity. I was interested in checking my skills in an international context. After receiving the results, I realized that it was not just a number, but an opportunity to become part of a global intellectual community,” she shared.
Mensa brings together people from all over the world and provides opportunities for development, communication, and participation in educational and cultural events.
“For me, Mensa is a space for people with different ways of thinking and feelings who can be on the same wavelength,” she added.

Aydai Donbaeva graduated from the Bishkek Lyceum "Aichurek" in 2022. After that, she enrolled in a program for Artificial Intelligence Engineering at a university in Cyprus, but after a year decided to continue her studies in Europe. She moved to the Czech Republic, where she learned the language in a year. Currently, Aydai is in her second year of an IT program at the University of Pardubice.

The young woman emphasized that without the support of her family, she would not have achieved such success. She expresses gratitude to her loved ones for their contribution to her education and belief in her abilities.
