Kulpunay was born and raised in the village of Kalygul, where she became the seventh child in a family of eight. She is currently unmarried.
She completed her education at the T. Oñolbaev Secondary School in her hometown.
“At the moment, I am studying at a medical college. Since a young age, I have been passionate about singing and dancing, and now I perform on the stages of Tokmok. Thanks to my passion for dance, I have fulfilled a childhood dream and have been running my own dance studio for three years,” Kulpunay shared.
Kulpunay expressed her ambitions: she dreams of performing on large stages and achieving success. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on social media and participating in charitable events.
Regarding her name, Kulpunay said:
“My name is indeed unusual and rarely encountered. My father named me Kulpunay with the wish that I would be ‘sweet and prosperous like a strawberry.’ Some people cannot pronounce it correctly and call me Cholponay, while others jokingly refer to me as ‘Raspberry.’
