As reported by the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers under the President, this period was initially planned from January 15 to February 15. However, in response to numerous requests from citizens, the authorities decided to extend it.
Thus, the duration of the preferential campaign now has no set end date and will continue indefinitely.
During this transitional period, old licenses retain their legal validity in Kyrgyzstan. After its completion, such licenses will lose their legality and must be replaced with new ones.
Due to the increasing number of citizen inquiries, the state center urges not to create panic and excitement.
The extension of the simplified procedure for replacing licenses allows citizens to take advantage of this opportunity calmly.
For faster service, it is recommended to:
- when visiting offices or submitting applications online, have your passport and old indefinite driver's license with you;
- check in advance for any unpaid administrative fines and, if necessary, pay them, as this may lead to delays in service.
Citizens whose licenses have not been digitized and do not appear in the "Tündük" system need to contact the relevant branches to obtain new documents. Others are advised to apply for a replacement online, avoiding in-person visits.
Additional information about the timelines and next steps for replacing licenses will be provided to the public through official media and channels.
