Important changes are expected for holders of old indefinite driver's licenses. As reported by the "Kabar" agency from the press service of the President's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, such licenses will lose their validity after the completion of the full replacement process.
According to the press service, all old licenses will be recognized as invalid after the stage of their replacement with new ones has passed.
It is important to note that citizens can exchange their old licenses free of charge from January 15 to February 15. Those who do not meet the specified deadlines will be given the opportunity to exchange during an additional period.
Furthermore, starting Monday, residents will be able to exchange their driver's licenses online, which will eliminate the need to visit government institutions.
