According to Boobek Salimjanov, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of lifelong rights can continue to use them without restrictions if they do not plan to travel abroad.
In response to citizens' questions about the need for urgent document replacement, the official noted that state institutions are stating that the replacement is voluntary.
“Drivers who have lifelong driver's licenses can use them without any restrictions. New licenses indicating an expiration date are only needed for those who plan to travel outside the country, which is related to international requirements. Within the territory of Kyrgyzstan, the old licenses remain fully valid,” Salimjanov explained.
