The President signed the relevant decree
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, has initiated the launch of a temporary campaign aimed at the free replacement of driver's licenses issued earlier without an expiration date. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
The campaign began on January 15 and will continue until a decision is made by the authorized state body.
As part of this program, citizens will be able to exchange their old licenses for new ones that meet established standards.
The administration noted that most citizens will not need a medical certificate in the form 083, except for those who are obtaining a license for the first time.
The process of document replacement will be carried out by the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Driver Personnel, which is under the jurisdiction of the Presidential Administration. The issuance and registration of new licenses will be financed from the center's own funds. The personalization of documents within this campaign will be performed by the state institution "Kyzmat".
