On January 29, a meeting of the board was held at the main office of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), where the results of the national security agencies' work for 2025 were summarized, according to information provided by the GKNB press service.

Participants included GKNB Chairman Kamchybek Tashiev and leaders of the central, line, and territorial divisions of the GKNB.

Tashiev emphasized that the work of the national security agencies demonstrated high results in ensuring state and public security, as well as in strengthening law and order. He highlighted the importance of a consistent fight against organized crime and corruption.

Particular attention at the meeting was given to issues of combating corruption in government agencies, as well as identifying and stopping the illegal activities of officials. Measures to cleanse government structures of corrupt elements were also discussed.

The statement noted that the fight against corruption is one of the main directions of state policy and is conducted on a systematic and institutional basis.

Additionally, it was announced at the board meeting that as part of the anti-corruption fight, 352 billion soms (equivalent to 4.14 billion dollars) in financial assets, state property, land plots, and other material values have been returned to the state budget over the past five years.

The GKNB clarified that these funds have fully entered the special account of the President's Stabilization Fund and will be used "exclusively at the personal instruction of the head of state for the implementation of socially significant projects, infrastructure development, and improving the well-being of the citizens of the republic."
