Felix Kulov commented on the president's personnel decisions and proposed the creation of a special commission
In his commentary, he emphasized that the dismissal of Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as the detention and dismissal of several employees of law enforcement agencies, demonstrate the priority of the law and the interests of the country over personal connections.
According to Kulov, the current events indicate the beginning of a reform of the system. He also noted that after the recent detentions, discussions about possible abuses in the national security agencies, which were not previously mentioned, have begun to emerge in society.
Furthermore, the former prime minister emphasized the importance of conducting both a legal and political assessment of what is happening. In this regard, he proposed the establishment of a special commission to investigate the causes of violations and develop recommendations for their prevention.
Kulov stressed that such a commission should operate transparently and include lawyers, representatives of the scientific community, the civil sector, and human rights defenders.
He also believes it is necessary to establish a separate commission aimed at improving the system of public administration. In his opinion, the country should transition from crisis management to a stage of institutional development, expanding local powers and increasing the efficiency of state structures.
The former prime minister noted that the president's decisions are a step towards revitalizing the system and moving towards a more mature model of governance.
